Standard Motor Products (SMP) has marketed its high-quality aftermarket parts in Canada under the Blue Streak® name since the late 1940s. Today, Blue Streak manufactures an array of advanced technology critical components for engine management systems, including ignition wire, coil-on-plug coils, fuel injectors, and sensors. Under the Four Seasons® brand, we manufacture and distribute a comprehensive line of replacement climate control products, including fan clutches, cooling fan assemblies, and new and remanufactured compressors.

Founded in 1919, Standard Motor Products operates as a global company with its head office located in Long Island City, New York and facilities in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia. In Canada, Standard Motor Products (SMP) has marketed its high-quality products for the automotive industry under the Blue Streak name since the late 1940s.
Blue Streak-Hygrade Motor Products is a subsidiary of SMP and a leading automotive aftermarket supplier of engine management and temperature control products for both import and domestic vehicles.
Engine Management
Recent model vehicles are highly computer controlled to reduce emissions, maximize fuel economy and improve consumer comfort. We manufacture advanced technology critical components for vehicle performance, including; distributorless ignition systems (DIS), control modules, oxygen sensors, exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves, ignition wires, coil-on-plug coils and boots, fuel injectors and pressure regulators. Our engine management category also includes a wide range of vehicle sensors including; anti-lock brake, temperature, camshaft, crankshaft, knock, MAP and throttle position. As well, we provide remanufactured on-board computers (ECM) and mass air flow sensors for vehicle performance.
Temperature Control
Under the Four Seasons brand, we manufacture and distribute a comprehensive line of replacement climate control products. As the largest aftermarket climate control parts supplier in the industry, we supply both new and remanufactured compressors for today’s vehicle. Our Four Seasons division also manufactures; accumulators, evaporators, fan clutches, cooling fan assemblies and blower motors to provide A/C cabin comfort for both the driver and passengers.
